We have been blessed with a beautiful building in a beautiful area, and as such we want to bless our local community with the space.
In November 2020 we finished a significant refurbishment where we changed the entrance from St Dionis Road to Parsons Green, laid a brand new parquet floor, fitted a fully commercial kitchen with a reading pod on top, added 3 toilets, created some extra rooms within the space and updated our whole lighting system (helping us to win the Bronze Eco-Church Award from A Rocha UK). A brand new fully fitted commercial kitchen with brat pan, warming cupboards, hobs, microwave, instant water tap, dishwasher and serving hatch.

Frequently Asked Questions – St Dionis Church Room Hire
What types of events or groups can hire the church rooms?
St Dionis Church welcomes a wide range of groups and events for room and hall hire. Our venue is regularly used by schools, choirs, orchestras, charities, conferences, residents’ associations, community groups, and for private family gatherings.
Please note that, in line with our community guidelines, fitness or exercise classes are not permitted.
Our Grade II listed church, is especially suited to concerts, recitals, and rehearsals. With its soaring ceilings and exceptional acoustics, the space is ideal for orchestral performances and professional sound recordings.
What are your venue hire hours?
Room and hall hire are available Monday to Saturday, 8am to 11pm. To respect our neighbours, all music must finish by 10pm.
Please note:
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings are currently fully booked in term time.
We do not offer hall hire on Sundays, as our church holds worship services.
Everyone is warmly invited to join us for Sunday worship.
How can I make a booking?
To book your event or rehearsal, simply complete our online enquiry form.
Our team will confirm availability, review your requirements, and send you our Hire Terms and Conditions. Once you agree, we’ll issue an invoice for payment to secure your booking.
How much does it cost to hire a church hall or meeting room?
Hire fees vary depending on the space and type of event. Larger events may require exclusive hire of the main church.
Discounted rates are available for charities and schools.

What is included in my church room hire?
Your hire includes:
Use of 270 chairs and 9 trestle tables
Basic AV package (laptop connection, audio and visual systems)
Up to 3 wireless microphones
Use of our baby grand piano for concerts (a £120 tuning fee applies if the piano is moved)
Is a deposit required?
Yes, for larger events a refundable £250 security deposit may be required. This will be returned after your event if the space is left clean and in good condition.
What is the minimum and maximum hire period?
Church rooms can be hired by the hour, with a minimum booking of 2 hours, including set-up and clean-up time.
Out-of-hours bookings (before 8am or after 5pm) incur a £20 per hour staff fee.
Can I view the venue before booking?
Yes. We encourage site visits by appointment so you can tour the space and discuss your event needs with our team.
Is the church accessible?
Our venue is wheelchair accessible, including access from reception to the main hall and back room.
Please note: the stage area is not wheelchair accessible.
Are there restrictions on food, drink, or alcohol?
All food, drink, and alcohol must be agreed in advance with our bookings team. We’ll guide you to ensure your plans meet our venue policies.
What about cleaning and end-of-hire responsibilities?
Hirers must clean the space and remove all belongings by the end of the booking time. Please leave the hall and rooms tidy for the next users.
