Worship and Creative Lead FT/PT

Worship and Creative ministry lead
Here at Dionis Church we are a community gathered by, with and for Jesus Christ for the sake of those in SW6 surrounding areas.

In our confessional life of the church all we do is in response to enter into and to endlessly realise all that God has made both possible and actual in Jesus Christ.

Called together by the Holy Spirit we gather week by week to worship for God’s sake. We are a widely diverse and different group of people, whose common life comes entirely as the gift of God, a gathering – ekklesia – of those who are only together because of what we share in Christ. But each member, of whatever age, means, or background is welcomed and prized – we will commit to love one another. For God has poured out his gifts upon us, in order to cause us to realise our unity as each person’s gifts and presence is valued and offered. In our life together we seek to learn how to be his people together, giving the formation of our children and young people in the faith particular weight.

We gather to come before the face of God, to encounter God together – opening up space to meet with God corporately in praise and thanks, in listening to his voice to us in the Scriptures, in praying for the needs of the world, in gathering round his table to feed on Christ in bread and wine and to minister to each other through the enabling of the Holy Spirit. We baptise those who enter the community of faith and proclaim the resurrection of the dead over those who die in the faith. These practices are our habits and our commitments, which we engage with observing the Christian year, and attentive to what God is doing among us. We do this in strong commitment to orthodox Christian praxis – the content of what Christians have always done when they have gathered together – but in a form which is ever fresh and engaging, authentic to the particularity of who we are, where we are and when we are.

We are seeking to appoint someone to the pivotal role of Worship and Creative Ministry Lead. This is a Full Time Role and Part Time will be considered.
