10.30 am Family Service

If you are thinking of coming to us for the first time, we hope the following advice is helpful.

There is no particular dress code at our church.

You will be warmly greeted at the door on your arrival. Inside, one of our welcome team will hand you a Bible with an order of service tucked inside. You will be invited to take a seat in one of the pews. There are no special seats - you can sit anywhere.

Although orientated towards the family, we welcome all ages and life stages at this service.

There is a fully staffed crèche facility available during the service and parents with young babies often make use of the sofas at the back.

Every Sunday we worship together for about 15 minutes before the children leave for their age related activity groups. On a number of special Sundays in the year (eg Harvest, Mothering Sunday) children over the age of two remain in the service for a shorter ‘All Age Service’.

On the third Sunday of each month we celebrate Holy Communion.

Refreshments are served after the 10.30 a.m. service, which gives everyone a chance to meet with other members of the congregation informally.

There is also a 'pub club' which is open to everyone who doesn't have any particular plans for Sunday lunch. The pub club is one of the best ways to meet others at St Dionis.

There is a welcome pack for people who are new to us and copies of the latest newsletter are always available. There are also Get Connected cards which help you to connect with the life of the church in some way. Do stay and chat; feel free to ask us any question you may have.
